Duties/responsibilities of a Sorting Man in a Supermarket:
Sorts and arranges products based on category, brand, expiry date, and shelf placement.
Checks product quality to ensure items are not damaged, expired, or defective before display.
Refills shelves and racks by replacing sold-out or low-stock items.
Organizes storage/warehouse area for easy access and smooth stock movement.
Assists in inventory management by counting stock and updating records when needed.
Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of sorting and storage zones.
Separates damaged or expired products and reports to supervisors for disposal or return.
Supports loading/unloading activities from delivery vehicles when required.
Labels and tags products for pricing and identification.
Coordinates with store supervisors and merchandisers to ensure product availability on display.
